What is PURSL?
PURSL brings together researchers, advisory staff, farmers and decision makers around the theme of productive use and rehabilitation of saline lands
PURSL is as national network of people who are actively involved in salinity management and who see value in sharing expertise and experience in salinity management
The National PURSL committee has coordinated 9 conferences and workshops over the past 15 years - Tatura VIC 1990, Adelaide SA 1992, Echuca VIC 1994, Albany WA 1996, Tamworth NSW 1999, Naracoorte SA 1999, Launceston TAS 2001, Fremantle WA 2002, and Yepoon QLD 2003
Each workshop has been different and has attempted to fill the needs of the state organisation which has hosted it
There is a long history or landholders, researchers and agency staff from Central West NSW attending the conference. A total of 63 local landholders accompanied by 14 Salt Team Staff have attended the last 4 events.
